MPS Language Summit showcases cultural options and teaching jobs in schools

Families, students, teachers, education job seekers, and the community are invited to attend the Milwaukee Public Schools Language Summit this Saturday, December 15, 2018 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. At the Summit, MPS will share information about exciting programs in our schools.

  • Bilingual and ESL Programs
  • MPS Bilingual Resolution
  • History of Bilingual Education
  • World Language and Immersion Programs
  • First Nations Studies Program

Lunch will be served by students in the MPS Culinary Arts program. Childcare is available.

Educators can learn more about the many bilingual teaching opportunities in the district.

Milwaukee School of Languages is located at 8400 W. Burleigh St., Milwaukee.

A bus to the event will depart from two locations at 10:15 a.m. on Saturday.

  • South Division High School, 1515 W. Lapham Blvd., Milwaukee
  • North Division High School, 1011 W. Center St., Milwaukee
