Year-round, first responders’ brave challenges so the rest of us may stay safe. In honor of their hard work and dedication, MPS Alumni would like to honor and celebrate these heroes for selflessly protecting and serving our communities. We honor the courage, commitment, and sacrifices of those in the fire service, law enforcement, and emergency medical services (EMS) communities, as well as our nation’s public servants. Join us in celebrating the Alumni “heroes among us” during these crucial times in our lives.

My family and friends know me as “Deuce.” I was born and raised in Milwaukee and a proud graduate of Bradley Tech High School. TECH HOUSE!

I was always passionate about my city. I also wanted to follow in my father’s footsteps – he is a retired Battalion Chief with the Milwaukee Fire Department. Growing up watching my dad, I realized at a young age that I wanted to make a difference by giving back while still being a part of something bigger than myself.

The training and education that I am receiving is not only an investment in me, but it is an investment in my community. Part of the Fire Cadet curriculum involves working in the firehouse, I love that it allows me to see the type of impact I can have in my community while still learning new skills. This career is truly a blessing. If anyone chooses to make this a career, take advantage of every opportunity it has to offer.
