Getting a first job is a huge step in the life of a teenager. To help students explore jobs, meet hiring managers, and succeed in the world of work, Milwaukee Public Schools will host its fourth annual Student Job Fair on March 10, 2021. MPS students age 16 and older in search of summer and year-round work should register now to attend. Employers are invited to register for the fair, which will take place from 9:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. using the BoothCentral platform.
Past job fairs saw more than 50 employers and 800 students attending each year, with enthusiastic feedback from attendees. Employers were impressed with the quality of student preparation, and students shared that they learned about career fields, applied for jobs, and were more prepared for the world of work.
In addition to searching for immediate jobs, students have the chance to explore new fields that may lead to lifelong careers. Through the BoothCentral platform, as many as five students at one time can chat with hiring representatives in virtual chat rooms and get answers to their questions.
Employers should sign up now to meet our enthusiastic, motivated students. Register at BoothCentral—Apply for a Booth.
